Sustainable Tourism In North West England
Working with Team Tourism we completed a study for the North West Development Agency designed to encourage the tourism industry to become more environmentally friendly. The main emphasis of the work was to advise the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste Partners on how to work with the tourism industry to achieve energy and resource savings. We also provided the NWDA with a framework for a strategic view of all aspects of sustainable tourism in the region. |

Bristol Regional
Environmental Records Centre
A review and future development plan for the
Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre
(BRERC). The study which resulted in a five-year
financial and staffing development plan was
funded by the 4 local authorities who support
BRERC and involved questionnaire and telephone
research and a number of workshops. |

Wolds AONB
A short study to review the objectives, staffing
and management structure of the AONB, for
Lincolnshire County Council countryside section. |

Mikron Theatre
Company
In 2003 I carried out an organisational development
plan for the Mikron Theatre Company, funded
by the Arts Council in Yorkshire. This involved
holding sessions with the Board of Management
and identifying development opportunities
for the company and a five-year future funding
profile. |

Rockingham Rural
Revival
A contract with the Rockingham Forest Trust
to review progress with a Leader+ European
rural development project and advise on its
organisation and future development. |

Youth Hostels
in Yorkshire and the Humber
A review of the economic, social and environmental
impacts of the youth hostels in the YHA Yorkshire
and Humber Region as an aid to the development
of strategic policies for the Association.
